Oakland Summer Camp
Campers grow their love of reading and writing through ecology, art, games, and exploration. Hesitant readers and writers thrive in this nurturing environment by using their literacy skills for meaningful activities like reading about the life cycle of worms in order to care for our worm bin.
Joyful Literacy Events
Invite us to your school, homeschool group, organization or community event!
We love to offer storytime and pop-up events like nature journaling. We also offer family literacy workshops (see below!).

WordLab — Tutoring @ School
Words in the Wild brings joyful, effective tutoring and small group (tier 2) instruction to select schools through high impact tutoring and supplemental literacy services. WordLab is also perfect for homeschool groups!
