Join our adventurous teaching team as we tap into curiosity through the practice of nature journaling, outdoor exploration, games, crafts and fun! Nature journaling combines elements of scientific inquiry, drawing, writing, and mindfulness to connect with the wonders of the natural world around us. Participants will personalize their own nature journals and then head out for some light hiking and nature play to find inspiration to fill their first pages. These days will be child-led and multi-age as our team of fabulous teachers guides and encourages literacy activities and sharpening observation skills, as well as unstructured exploration and play.

Activities may include: nature journaling and outdoor exploration, playing and observing nature in and around the shallow creek, playground activities, field games, read aloud time, silent reading and more! We have built in plenty of free-choice time.
