🧠 📚 Benefits of Bilingualism Workshop Series 📚🧠

Humans are born word scientists — observing, playing with, and responding to language from infancy. Children in dual immersion settings apply those natural skills across two languages, building exceptional metalinguistic awareness along the way. Join EBI and Dr. Alexis Filippini for a two-part series that brings literacy research to life by looking "under the hood" at reading and writing skill development among bilingual learners. You'll leave with concrete strategies to support your child's development as a bilingual “word scientist.”

Part 1 Biliteracy Across the Elementary Years (October 22, 2026)

For TK-5 families, this session offers a foundation in literacy development across the elementary years, emphasizing biliteracy (reading comprehension and writing). We'll address common parent questions: Is my child on track? What does the research say about peaks and valleys in skills over time? How will my child’s Spanish literacy skills influence English development, and vice versa?

Hosted by Escuela Bilingüe Internacional

Refreshments provided.

Free childcare for children over 3 years old and toilet-independent.
