Readalouds, podcasts, and more for families

Teachers say "read with your child every day" and we all know this is important for language and literacy development. But busy families ask "when!?" And "how!?". These resources (in English and in Spanish) are mostly audio that you and your children can listen to in the car, while cooking dinner, or waiting to pickup siblings.

For families who speak a different language than the school, this can feel even more tricky. Listening to stories and talking about them in any language is vital for children's literacy development, so we encourage families to talk with each other about their days, listen to stories from elders, and share songs, jokes, or nursery rhymes in all of your langauges!
